Established in the 90s, Croissanterie brings French artisanal baking, high-quality ingredients and a “pre-made but baked fresh” business model to China, sharing premium products and memorable flavours with communities everywhere.
Our story began in 1988 at a bakery in the French Riviera. From outside its windows, our founders revelled at the view before them: rows upon rows of flaky, golden croissants, arranged with perfection and precision for all to see and enjoy. This scene planted the seeds of our brand – at a time when Chinese baked goods were still unevenly handmade, the French model of standardising quality with frozen, ready-to-bake products was revolutionary. From this inspiration came Croissanterie (formerly Croissants de France), bringing the model of “pre-made but fresh baked” to China.
